Promoting the Tech at Foursquare

Primary Focus
During my tenure at Foursquare I had the opportunity to be a part of a diverse Brand team with the company’s Marketing department. Being able to work alongside seasoned designers from other partss of the creative field provided me an execellent chance to learn how to design content for digital software and services which was very different from my days as a designer in commercial advertising. These opportunities to learn new tech products combined with the knowledge of location analytics helped me engage thoughtfully in projects where I could design documents and imagery that aided in the Marketing team’s efforts at Foursquare.
Collateral Development
Many of the project I undertook during my tenure at Foursquare involved creating one-sheets and infographics that detailed the capabilities and use cases of the companies suite of products. Documents were developed in conjunction with product marketers to ensure that information flowed correctly for the reader and all imagery incorporated was pertinent to the respective subject.
Longer Form Content
I also produced a number of informative ebooks for the Product Marketing team that served as comprehensive guides on how to effectively engage with Foursquare’s suite of innovative products or highlighted new milestones the company had successfully reached.
Animated Elements
On occasion, I would also design custom content specifically tailored for marketers and sellers when necessary. These particular requests often involved creating either static or animated graphics that effectively helped illustrate the function and capabilities of Foursquare’s suite of products. The GIF image to the right and the following banners below are images I developed in Adobe Premiere Pro to illustrate narratives of the products Foursquare offered.
Reimaging Slides
I collaborated with the Product Marketing and Sales teams to create many client presentations and pitch decks. These materials offered detailed information about Foursquare’s growing suite products and their benefits, incorporating relevant photography and clear illustrations to help engage readers through the content. With the Brand team's assistance, I aimed to make the presentations visually appealing and increasingly creative with each version.
